unnamed (6)Welcome to winter everyone and yep, it’s been a chilly start! I do hope everyone is keeping themselves healthy and active, which is often hard to do once that winter chill sets in…

I am thrilled to share some exciting news for Pivot Health. I’m going global. Haha, not really, but I have been selected to travel to Cambodia from 2nd – 25th July as the Soft Tissue Therapist for the Australian National U16 Mens Team (Joeys) for the AFF (ASEAN Football Federation) U-16 Youth Championships Tournament in Phnom Penh.

I’m pretty stoked with this opportunity as it has been a goal of mine since my scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) to travel with a sporting team as part of their medical/performance personnel. Working with Football Australia’s Centre of Excellence coaches/technical director, doctor and physio will give me great insight into the workings of a team and be sure to enhance my treatment protocols and skills. I am suitably chuffed and cannot wait for the incredible learning experience, not too mention warm weather!

I cannot thank you enough – my loyal and supportive clients; as without your support, loyalty and feedback which gives motivation to succeed and grow, this would not have been possible. So THANK YOU!

BUT, I will be gone for just over 3wks and a lot of you simply can’t wait that long for treatment… Thankfully I have a close working relationship with my good friend Ilias who owns Muscle & Bone Clinic in Prahran. He will actually be away himself from 15th July but has employed an excellent myotherapist, Josh Keogh, who is more than happy to treat you in my absence. He is great at what he does and super chilled + friendly – kinda like me but minus a decade….(or two..). Please don’t hesitate to book in should you need to – I wouldn’t! You can do so by calling 9533 2925 and requesting an appointment with Josh or Ilias. Please make sure to remember to mention you are a client of Pivot Health.

For my Albert Road clients, if you just cannot do Prahran I am still hatching a plan for you so please stay tuned for an update before I go – I do not intend to leave you in the lurch.

Once again, I thank each and everyone of you for your loyalty that has helped drive my motivation to realise a goal. I’ll be sure to bang out an email or two whilst away.
